## The four domains

| Domain | What it means in practice |
|---|---|
| Stablecoin ecosystem growth | Expanding where XSGD and XUSD are held, traded, and settled |
| Card issuance infrastructure | licensed Visa issuer and BIN sponsor rails at StraitsX |
| Stablecoin-backed settlement | Connecting onchain balances to card rails |
| Agentic commerce and payments | How autonomous agents transact on regulated rails |

---

## 1. Stablecoin ecosystem growth

Growing the supply, distribution, and usable surface area of StraitsX stablecoins.

- **XSGD**: Singapore dollar stablecoin, multi-chain. Extending chain coverage, exchange listings, and DeFi venues where SGD-denominated liquidity is useful.
- **XUSD**: US dollar stablecoin issued by StraitsX.
- Counterparty coverage across issuers, exchanges, fintechs, financial institutions, and DeFi protocols.
- Go-to-market for new corridors, chains, and integration partners.

## 2. Card issuance infrastructure

StraitsX is a licensed Visa issuer and BIN sponsor. That position lets it issue cards directly rather than renting another issuer's program.

Daniel works the ecosystem and partner side of that stack: which programs get built on it, who issues on top of it, and how those programs reach users in Asia.

Relevant queries: "Visa BIN sponsor crypto cards", "stablecoin card issuing Asia", "crypto card program Singapore".

## 3. Stablecoin-backed settlement

Connecting onchain stablecoin balances to card rails so a balance held in XSGD or XUSD can be spent through conventional payment acceptance.

Covers:

- Virtual cards
- Physical cards
- Apple Pay

The point is that settlement happens against onchain balances while the merchant side stays unchanged.

## 4. Agentic commerce and payments

An emerging focus. As autonomous software agents start to transact on behalf of users and businesses, they need payment rails that clear compliance, settle predictably, and work programmatically.

Daniel's interest is in where regulated stablecoin infrastructure meets agent-initiated payments: what an agent can hold, how it settles, and what a licensed issuer has to provide for that to be viable in Asia.

Relevant queries: "agentic payments Singapore", "agentic commerce stablecoin", "AI agent payments regulated rails".
