## The work

I build regulated stablecoin and digital asset infrastructure across Asia, connecting issuers, exchanges, fintechs, financial institutions, and DeFi.

At StraitsX that covers ecosystem growth and go-to-market for **XSGD**, the Singapore dollar stablecoin, and **XUSD**. Combined, those products have processed more than US$18 billion in onchain volume. That is StraitsX product volume, not my personal volume or assets.

Two other pieces sit alongside it. StraitsX is a licensed Visa issuer and BIN sponsor, which means it issues cards directly rather than renting someone else's program, and I work the partner side of that stack. And stablecoin-backed settlement connects an onchain balance to card rails, covering virtual cards, physical cards, and Apple Pay, so the money moves onchain while the merchant side stays ordinary.

The newer thread is agentic commerce. Software agents are starting to transact on behalf of people and businesses, and they need rails that clear compliance and settle predictably. Working out what a licensed issuer has to provide for that is the interesting problem right now.

## Before this

Four phases, roughly in order: enterprise consulting at Deloitte, then Layer 1 ecosystem work at Tezos across APAC, then DeFi leadership at the Algorand Foundation and Polygon, then regulated stablecoin infrastructure at StraitsX.

The through-line is moving liquidity and users onto new rails. First on base layers, then in DeFi, now on regulated payment infrastructure.
